Risk Matrix Frequency

How often should we engage the whole team in risk evaluation&response process via Risk Matrix? Is it a good practise to include this on every iteration planning meeting? Or is this something which should be done only by PM during iterations?

  1. Thank you for this important question. The risk management is a continuous process. Project Manager should proactively manage risks and communicate the potential risk with team members, subject matter experts and other stakeholders. In agile project environment each iteration planning meeting includes also risk identifying, risk evaluation, risk response plan and risk response implementation.
