  1. One of the key points is to see what propmpts or hinders cooperation. In order to avoid obstacles we need to analyze them to see what is hindering the cooperation. It is necessary to determine what you control and how you can make sure it does not control you. On the other hand we need to highlight what leads to successful cooperation and what can we do to promote it. We need to make sure we listen to everybody if we want to be heard and not try to push only our way of thinking. Team work means we are working together and not for one person. Once this attitude is accepted I believe no obstacle is in the way for successful cooperation.

  2. Hello Simona, I suppose you already clearly set the missions and communicated them well to all the teams. This is in fact the basic ground for a good teamwork. It may look stupid, but when team mates know each other in terms of mission, they easily find to whom they can address to solve any common issue. Setting common targets (in addition to individual targets) also contributes to cooperation, as people understand they have to work together to succeed. Then you should create forums where people can share their experiences and issues. The coffee machine is a perfect forum :-)

  3. In the specialized literature there exist many recommendations how to improve cooperation in the teams. One of them is as follows: 1. Teamwork must become part of your culture. 2. Provide teams with the resources they need to work together. ... 3. Train employees and encourage ongoing learning. ... 4. Encourage people to socialize outside of work. ... 5. Clarifying roles and setting expectations. ... 6. Review individual's talents. ... 7. Resolve team conflict quickly.
