As far as I know, all projects have some time, resource or other constraints. Scheduling without constraints seems to be unrealistic.

Recommendation

Scheduling without constraints is only the first step of scheduling. It contains the activities definition through decomposition of the work packages, sequencing the activities accor-ding to their dependencies, determining the requirements for resources, determining the activity durations and the calculation of the starting project schedule without reference to the project constraints and to the risk mitigation. For the schedule calculation there are used the CPM method, PERT method, GERT method, critical chain method and others.
