The management team, when implementing or planning a new endeavor, creates rationale for the project which is confusing, unrelated or incomplete.
The danger of unstable or unclear benefits/goals is one that can ultimately bring down the entire project. It could be a symptom of corporate leadership dysfunction and will waste time, money and effort if correction is not made early enough.
Middle Management or the Project Manager who\'s responsible for delivering success must be proactive and unafraid to ask questions relating to the legitimacy of respective benefits. Do not only clarify with end users, upper management and stakeholders that the benefits/goals are not only workable, but also that they conform the organization\'s objectives.
