Success Problem

I am going to continue with the SCRUM Environment related mistakes/issues.


SCRUM Project Environment related findings: 1. only the approach is called agile, but it is not used in practice ; 2. Team members think they do not need to document anything; 3. SCRUM method is only used to save the project in a crisis; 4. The team is not empowered by line management; 5. There is missing an organizational units support, and the internal processes are not modified; 6. There was signed waterfall contracts, but used in an agile project; 7. SCRUM Masters are not PM but the TOP Management considers it that way; 8. SCRUM Team is too big (9+ members) ; 9. Agile Project – the rest of company is not agile; 10. Overburdening the SCRUM Team; 11. SCRUM readiness (company, TOP Management, staff, processes)


Please remember: It is a challenge to set up the right agile environment. Functional structure often influences the agile project, we need to take it into consideration. Do not expect the transformation to be easy. Everything goes wrong if the project stakeholders still have a waterfall mindset.
