Webinar: Data-Informed Decision Making in Projects - Marcus Glowasz - 15:00 (CET)
Title: Data-Informed Decision Making in Projects
Abstract:
In the era of big data and the ever-increasing flow of information, the use of analytics is now widespread across industries, with data analytics mainly used to help enterprises make better decisions. Project Managers are required to make critical project decisions daily but often do not have sufficient information available to confidently make decisions. As a result, projects are increasingly falling short of delivering on their promises, requiring therefore more than ever a data-informed approach to decision-making in the area of project delivery and management.
To take advantage of the previously untapped capabilities of Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence for the project management practice, project professionals and decision-makers need to become more data-aware and data literate, to enable more rational and sound decision-making in projects, based on both quantitative and qualitative information that is transformed into knowledge assets.
