What to do when activities that have not been included in the timetable occures?

The project is in the planning phase, the customer and also the management are pushing to deliver the schedule of the individual project work. The project manager is under the pressure of management and he provides a timetable for work without analysis of individual activities. During the project, occure activities that have not been included in the timetable, which has impact on project plan.

  2. This can happen also after careful project planning. If activities that have not been in-cluded in the timetable occure, you have to actualize the project work breakdown struc-ture and the project schedule. This includes following steps: 1) analyze the adequate reasons for new activity, 2) if the new activity is not needful for the project objective or project goal, call the project steering committee to delete the activity, 3) if the new activity is needed for the project objective or project goal, include the ac-tivity scope in the work breakdown structure, define the activity technological and organizational dependencies and include the activity into the project scheduling network, 4) compute or estimate the activity duration and actualize the project schedule.
