Making a small change in my team

I want to make a small change in my team. But my boss is against it. How can I push him a little bit? What is the best way to approach a situation like this? That change will help for sure.

  1. At first you need to know why your boss is against the change and what is the benefit for the organization, project, team. This is the basic two steps which you need to know, and then you need to think about “quick win “ do not make the whole change but try to make a part of the change where you can have a sufficient result which you will present. I can recommend Kotter's 8 steps for leading change’, which include: Establish a sense of urgency. ... Form a powerful coalition. ... Create a Vision. ... Communicating the Vision. ... Empowering others to act on the vision. ... Planning for and creating short term wins. ... Consolidating improvements and producing still more change. ... Institutionalising new approaches.
