Project scope is the set of all deliverables (not only final outputs) and works, needed to create or approve project product. The project scope determines the project towards its environment determining, what belongs to the project. Recommendation

From the technical point of view the project scope contains: • design documentation of the prepared work, • the work themselve, • operation, maintainance, repairs and reconstruction, • change of ownership (purchase, lease and sale), or different combinations of these possibilities, as for example: • traditional preparation of the design and following construction (design-bid-build, DBB), • construction, owning and work operating (build-own-operate, BOO), • construction, owning and work operating at the cost of the contractor for given time period and after it the transfer into the procuror’s ownership (build-own-operate-transfer, BOOT), • the preparation of the design documentation and later also the construction, ownership and operating the work at the cost of the constructor for some period of time and at last the transfer to the procuror (design-build-own-operate-transfer, DBOOT, • lease, work development and operation (lease-develop-operate, LDO), etc.
