Project success criteria are permitted deviations from the given project objectives.

Recommendation

Project success criteria are defined and evaluated for each project separately. There exist two basic sets of project success criteria: • procuror’s criteria, • criteria of other interested parties. Project success criteria are hard and soft criteria. To the hard project success criteria belong the limits to exceed the project constraints. To the soft criteria belong: • rate of qualification growth of the project team members, • work motivation, • project management style. Project success criteria are to be distinguished from the project success fac-tors.
