There exist many reasons why the project can run into issues, but the majority of them can be solved with clear and frequent communication.

Recommendation

The manager has to make sure he/she understands not just the technical requirements of a project, but also the underlying rationale of the client. The manager has then to crea-te a shared vision between all interested parties. It’s the his/her responsibility to under-stand the direction of the particular project as well as the overall strategy of the client and then to make sure those two items match up.
