Is it only the project manager who is responsible for the project success?

Impact

For the project success is responsible first of all the project owner because he/she determines and during the project changes its purpose, resources and constraints. The project manager is responsible for the project management success.

Recommendation

Project success is accepting the project goal achieving by all interested parties and by holding all relevant project constraints. Project can be successful also if some project objectives are satisfied only in a certain manner or if the failure of some objectives is compensated through fullfilling of some other objectives (e.g. cost exceeding can be compensated through rentabilty or through the economy of the project deliverables etc.).
