The particularities of individual kinds of projects results from their technical differencies and from the differencies of their environments. These differencies ask of the project managers not only the proffesional, but also managerial competence.

Recommendation

Project classification is structuring the projects to kinds of project according to different criteria, e.g. the project scope (construction projects, research projects, information – technological projects), the project extent (little, middle and big), the project complexity (simple and complex projects) or other criteria (e.g. intern projects, external projects or local, national and international projects). The manager of a given kind of project must have not only the managerial competence, but also the techical competence.
