Lateral thinking is a method for problem solving through searching for untypical solvings, or variants with low probability. It is free from „traditional“ thinking and tries to disclosure as many variants as possible. The basic attribute is to seek for the other variants without evaluating their legitimacy or feasibility. This helps to keep from first interesting solving, which excludes the search for other variants. Searching for the optimal solution is made in the next phase from all obtained ideas.
